It is with great sadness that the World Speedway Riders’ Association announce the passing of Graham Miles at the age of 75.

Miles rode for Canterbury, West Ham and Hackney until a serious crash in 1971 confined him to wheelchair.
Despite that, he stayed upbeat becoming well-known on the comedy circuit and regularly attended Speedway Riders’ Benevolent Fund events.
In 2014, the ex-rider served as President of the WSRA before becoming a trustee of the charity attending many events over the years.
Graham was a huge part of the WSRA. Everyone is shocked and deeply saddened by his passing.
We send our sincere condolences to his wife, Roz, family and friends.
